Jesus said ‘Be like little children’ without
‘power’. Don’t make your power felt, lording it over others.
God’s power seems to be invitation, rather than obligation, coaxing
rather than forcing. He chose a donkey for His grand parade, rather
than prize horse, chariot, and security. He is utterly vulnerable.
Later in the week, to explain
the meaning of Mass and Communion, He washes the tired feet of others.
The Mass is still Jesus vulnerable for us, food therapy, and
encouragement through the crosses and trials of life, awaiting Easter
Dawn.
