Pentecost Sunday A

I asked a little child, ’’ When is your birthday ‘’. He said, ’’When I wake’’. Pentecost celebrates the everyday birth of life. The world is drenched with Spirit Presence. Jesus helps us to grasp this Mystery of Love, by using images, signs, and symbols. The Spirit is Breath and wind. The first breath of an infant is an unforgettable moment. We see breath expressed in billions of different ways, in friendship, and love, beauty, fashion, style, sports, racing, music, song, worlds of wonder. Breath makes words too, that encourage and enthuse. The power of words for healing and hope, we experienced recently with the visit of The Queen, and President of the U.S.A. Caroline was a school girl when her mother died. She will get a new breath in Heaven, she explained to me. Jesus tells us too that The Spirit is fire....The Enlightener.. who gives birth to all ideas and inventions. There is no light without fire. It is fire controlled that gives us the comforts of home life. It is fire controlled that gives the pleasure of plane flight, The mobile and ipod are sparks of fire converted. The little birthday child is right ...to be awake to life is the secret. Thank You God for giving us life. Thank You God for giving us love. Thank You God for giving us joy ...right where we are .....Alleluia, Praise The Lord, Alleluia Praise The Lord, Alleluia Praise The Lord, right where we are.
