Jesus friends were very sad, because Jesus died on Good Friday. They went for a walk. They met a stranger. They told the stranger all that had happened. They had a great chat, and they asked the stranger to have a meal with them. During the meal the stranger disappeared. Then they realised that the stranger was Jesus. He was present to them in a new way, through His Risen Spirit. Jesus is present to us, not as He was, but is who He was..Celebrating Mass is a special presence of Jesus. Our minds are fed with the food of Gods Word. Our hearts are warmed with the presence of Holy Communion. Mass is a meal of friendship that helps us to help others, especially to feed the hungry, and care for those in need, and respect the stranger. Because we fail seven times a day and make mistakes Jesus invites to ‘’Come take and eat. This is my Body Given for you. We are instruments of God’s blessing for the world. God asks us to use our hands for Him.
