You have seduced me.God is called The Seducer in todays God Word....The One who satisfies our thirst,,our longing,our desire ...our flesh faints for You Lord .The little ones long to grow ,to know,the teens long to be accepted,to look nice ,lovers long for intimacy ....indeed all humans do ..the married long for health and happiness,the single long for friendship and security ,the grandparents long for peace and contentment Longing is a taste of God ,the smell of cake not yet eaten..the echo of song not yet sung,the perfume of the flower not yet seen .Meantime mixed with longing are the thorns of life A best selling book, world wide ,is called The Road less Travelled...that road is called pain and suffering...there is no avoiding ..there is.no person ever born that didn’t suffer .It comes even without asking ,and there in no pill for ever pain.We are right to rid ourselves of pain...Jesus healed and heals people...but in the end it is about coping with, more than being without.With faith in Jesus Christ we believe that God is a loving Father who promises us fullness of joy,but not in this life,and suffering and putting oneself out for another are the make up of that joy. Jesus Spirit is with us in this journey of coping,also people are with us in coping ,and in a way are Gods angels .The Spirt of Christ who died ,is risen ,and will come again is with us in every Mass.
