They are good people with a new baby. She wants the baby baptized,even though she admits that she is not as regular at Mass as she would like to be.He is not a believer.I thought of them today when Jesus asks ....Who do people say that I am ....there was a variety of answers .With many years of baptizing on my clock,I think that the number one question is ...Do I believe in Jesus Christ,and the number one action is, lighting a candle, and promising to tell the story of Jesus Christ to the child. A Jewish scholar was asked,how did his people survive exile and persecution over thousand of years.He said they always kept telling the story...Gods story of liberation ..to their children.To be asked to bless a new baby is always a privilege,it is sharing a wonder beyond our imagination.If one believes in Jesus Christ in ones own way ..fine,we all have ups and downs of belief, and many different shades,but to tell the story of Christmas,Easter,and The Spirit with us, can only bring its own blessing .We can find it all on a Rosary Ring thats called a chain of Love.
