15 Sunday A

Jesus watches a farmer sowing seeds in a field. He notices the extravagant generosity of seeds that the farmer scatters everywhere, not just on good soil, but on weeds, and rocks, and briars, and hard ground. The farmer reminds Jesus of God Our Father, and His reckless generosity for People.Every person is a seed of God,and the seeds wear all kinds of different clothes ,and have different experiences in life. The seed always remains God’s loved one ,no matter what happens to it.On the News ,we are glad to hear that someone excels in sport,or with success, and we are sad when a little girl is disappointed to miss her turn for a liver transplant .Both are God’s loved ones ....chosen to be.I admire people who remind us of the sacredness of the seeds of human life,be it the infant in the womb,or the person with disability, of mind or body.Lord, may your love make us what You have called us to be,and bless our world.
