Our Lady of Fatima – Portugal – 20th Century
“He had great faith in the Rosary Ring that you gave him
in hospital”, his widow said. It was a friend to the end....a lifeline.
The Rosary Ring is a ten bead circle for the finger that
helps us to say a Hail Mary, or remind us of Mary .Often we don’t know how
to pray. Yet we feel the need of help, and Mary does the praying for us, now
and at the hour of death.
The little children of Fatima believed that The Lady
asked them to pray the Rosary for peace in the world. The Rosary is a way
of contemplation. It focuses on the important events in the Life of Christ that
tell God’s Love Story.
The Rosary was the peoples Bible and a companion through
the sadness, hopes and joy of life. It does not tie us to numbers or time. We
can say twenty decades, or half a Hail Mary, as we walk or wait.
